We proudly present the Dimedium Estonia Employee of the Year - Heitti Irval! Heitti is a spirited Pan-Baltic Smart Farm project manager who never leaves things half-done or undone. Last year, he successfully kept Smart Farm on track despite the challenging situation in the agricultural sector and the falling milk prices. In addition to leading the Smart Farm team and its activities, Heitti is also Dimedium's expert in aquaculture and fish feed. His sales results for fish feed last year were truly impressive: Dimedium Estonia's fish feed sales hit an all-time high! Well done, Heitti. We wish you strength and endurance for your future endeavors!

Recently, the highlight of Estonian agriculture, the Annual Exhibition of Estonian Agriculture (EPA2024), took place. For the sixth consecutive year, the event brought together key decision-makers from the Estonian agricultural sector, along with the most important partners supporting our farmers. Over the course of two days, attendees explored the latest trends in agriculture and bioeconomy, as well as cutting-edge innovations and technologies designed to help farms improve their operations and solve their most pressing daily challenges. Dimedium proudly participated with two booths: one representing Dimedium and another showcasing Alta Genetics. At the Dimedium booth, we introduced top-quality solutions from our partners, including VES-Artex, BIORET CORP, DRAMIŃSKI Ultrasound Scanners, Royal De Boer barn equipment, Urban GmbH & Co. KG, Herdvision, Vitalac, Hankkija Oy, Kersia, inventing a food safe world, and Schils BV. Throughout the two busy days, our teams engaged in conversations with current and potential clients, offering valuable insights for smart farm management and shaping a more sustainable future. A big thank you to everyone who visited our booths. We look forward to seeing you again next year at EPA 2025!

For five years in a row, Estonian veterinarians have enjoyed the fantastic opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills at the Summer Academy organized by the Estonian University of Life Sciences and Dimedium. The two-day event primarily focuses on hands-on learning under the guidance of top professionals. This year, the Academy took place on August 24-25, with workshops covering Stomatology (a 2-day workshop), Diagnostic Imaging (Ultrasound and X-ray), Emergency Surgery, and Primary Care for Exotic Small Mammals. For the third consecutive year, veterinary assistants were also invited to join, with a dedicated workshop on exotic animals. A total of nine experts in their respective fields led the workshops, sharing their valuable knowledge and guiding participants through practical exercises. We would like to thank our incredible lecturers, the organizing team from the University, and all participants of the Summer Academy. Special thanks to Dr. Piret Savvi, Senior Veterinarian at the EULS Small Animal Clinic, for her outstanding leadership as the chief organizer of the Summer Academy. We look forward to welcoming everyone again next summer!
