Dimedium Estonia and Estonian University of Life Sciences hold the fifth Summer Academy

02.09.2024

For five years in a row, Estonian veterinarians have enjoyed the fantastic opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills at the Summer Academy organized by the Estonian University of Life Sciences and Dimedium.

The two-day event primarily focuses on hands-on learning under the guidance of top professionals. This year, the Academy took place on August 24-25, with workshops covering Stomatology (a 2-day workshop), Diagnostic Imaging (Ultrasound and X-ray), Emergency Surgery, and Primary Care for Exotic Small Mammals. For the third consecutive year, veterinary assistants were also invited to join, with a dedicated workshop on exotic animals.

A total of nine experts in their respective fields led the workshops, sharing their valuable knowledge and guiding participants through practical exercises.

Thank you to all our incredible lecturers, the organizing team from the University, and all participants of the Summer Academy. Special thanks to Dr. Piret Savvi, Senior Veterinarian at the EULS Small Animal Clinic, for her outstanding leadership as the chief organizer of the Summer Academy!
